Students explore each component of a fully developed financial plan and outline the various stages in the process of financial planning. Students are introduced to the code of ethics and practice standards. Students examine the intersection of the six (6) segments of a financial plan to create a projected cash flow statement. An overview of the administrative aspects of a financial plan and the process of financial planning in Canada, including how it is regulated, contributes to the student's understanding of their future role as a financial planner.
