This course continues the comprehensive study of producing films and manages the pre-production, production, post-production and delivery of the second year Scripted Short Project films. Students are introduced to increasingly complex production paperwork, with a view to understanding pre-production processes and detailed budgeting and scheduling. Over the course of the semester, students will model a professional crew, working as a team to produce a short film both in a studio and on location while working to strict delivery deadlines. Students will also learn to work with clients by beginning the development of a Public Service Announcement or Commercial creative strategy with an existing organization.
