Students further their understanding of biology by contextualizing and examining advanced concepts in the anatomy and physiology of the human body. Anatomical terminology, introduction to histology, the structures and normal physiological functions of the integumentary, skeletal, muscular, nervous, endocrine, immune, cardiovascular and respiratory systems are explored. Investigation of the digestive and urinary systems further supports the students' transition into the allied health fields.
