This course will teach how to integrate research into your design process. As the design profession evolves and the competitive nature of the market changes, design will require more measurable and proven results to justify creative dollars. This course will provide some historical context, strategies and tactics, research frameworks, and showcase case studies of applied practices from the field. The course will show students how design creates value, and how this can be far better achieved and focused with research-driven design methods.
