Students will develop an understanding of the basic concepts of physics. This course will explore the concepts of mechanics, energy, sound, light, liquids, gases, electricity and magnetism. Although mathematical problem solving is not a central part of this course, it is assumed that students have (or will acquire concurrently) a knowledge of algebra and trigonometry.
