This course will consider, in depth, the assemblies of materials chosen to compose a wall system. The wall systems may be concrete or framed with steel or wood to meet specific performance requirements relating to structural strength, fire resistance, durability and acoustical isolation. Drywall construction components materials and techniques will be explored with in depth lessons on plastering with a variety of mixable and ready mixed compounds.
