The Advanced Hotel Operations course is a continuation of HOTL 136 - Hotel Operations Management. In this course, students will learn advanced concepts that guide the role, function and interplay of the various departments within different categories of hotels. An in-depth exploration of topics such as hotel brands & brand management, ownership & asset management, leadership & human resources, quality assurance & guest evaluation, accounting & finance and risk management, will be covered which will prepare students for a successful start to a career in the lodging industry. Student learning will be enhanced by industry guest speakers.
