Visual Communications 4

Course Code: IDSN 2501

Academic Year: 2025-2026

Building upon work in their previous 3 semesters in Visual Communications, students develop solutions based drawings based upon distinctive criteria, as well as exploring different digital presentation media including Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop. Projects focus upon the key intent behind a presentation as well as the applied skills displayed. Sketching skills are honed through in-class assignments that address different themes at the same time as developing their applied drawing skills, including perspective, line weight, scale, layout, and tone. Lectures and presentations challenge the student to experiment with new techniques in both the analog and digital format in the course of developing their own distinctive drawing and presentation style.
