This course is the first in a series of six applied learning courses constructively building on techniques to deliver a full-scope, multi-media interior design project presentation and documentation. The multi-practice nature of Design Communications I-VI emphasizes that students and professionals must be proficient in all types of communication. This course introduces techniques of freehand drawing and sketching studies as well as manual drafting practices as tools to communicate ideas and design process. The class sessions are divided into specialties of the discipline, such as manual drafting practices and drawing.
