This course is the second in a series of six applied learning courses, the completion of which will culminate in a full scope interior design project presentation. In this course, students expand on techniques of manual drafting, perspective and rendering, with investigation of techniques employed in the representation of materials and finishes in a variety of media. Introduction of computer-generated drawings for two-dimensional project documentation is introduced. The class sessions are divided into specialties of the discipline, such as CADD and manual drawing. Practical modules are also completed outside of class by the students to support materials delivered in lecture and studio. Students must attend all scheduled classes and the additional computer-aided design (CAD) labs provided.
