In this course, learners explore the current Ontario occupational health and safety legislation as outlined in the Occupational Health and Safety Act. Exploring various workplace regulations and standards, learners will delve into the new Integrated Occupational Health and Safety Strategy for Ontario, discerning the roles and responsibilities of OHS within organizations. Learners will gain foundational knowledge for outbreak management and communicable disease prevention and apply the rules, regulations, and standards to minimize workplace health concerns and hazards.
