This hands-on course is about equipping you with the technical skills and industry-standard tools for you to produce the kind of journalism you want to explore. The first half of the course focuses on practical training seminars covering DSLR cameras, video cameras, microphones, and essential software like Burli, iNews, and Adobe Premiere. You'll gain familiarity with radio and podcast studios, exploring the range of production resources available to today's journalist. Youll also be guided through the process of building your own media production toolkit. You'll learn how to identify the essential resources needed to launch a minimum viable product (MVP) a small-scale version of a potential media concept, allowing you to test your ideas, refine your approach, and begin building your audience.
