This course helps students build on their experience with computational journalism contexts and work with new technologies, narrative approaches, and workflows in a highly collaborative group setting to produce leading-edge journalism, including bots, algorithms, and complex data visualizations. Students reflect critically on the tools and approaches they are using to determine whether they were effective in telling the story and whether the finished product served the intended audience.
