Students learn about arts and entertainment reporting in Canada. As with sports and business reporting, arts and entertainment journalism is one of the largest and expanding beats in the profession. Through readings, viewings, and discussions, students explore the historical development of arts and entertainment reportage and its modern iterations through all digital media platforms from both legacy and traditional outlets. Arts and entertainment journalists attend guest speaker sessions to discuss professional practices and industry demands.
