Students learn the practice of political reporting in Canada. Through readings, viewings and discussions, students explore the historical development of political reportage and its modern iterations at the municipal, provincial and national levels. They analyze content produced by political journalists, from personality to policy issues in the political field. Political journalists attend guest speaker sessions to discuss professional practices and industry demands.
