They write for specific audiences, for specific purposes, utilizing distinct media channels. They research, write, design and edit promotional and informational materials for corporate and not-for-profit organizations. As freelance media writers, learners produce specialized, unique blogs, podcasts, and other written content. This course places emphasis on meeting the criteria for effective writing, such as adhering to proper grammar and syntax, presenting supported viewpoints, incorporating verifiable facts, conducting comprehensive research, while maintaining an engaging voice.
