Students learn principles of GD&T and functional gages and apply datum concepts. Students learn the capability of CMM machine and apply it on different parts. Students are exposed to CMM programming checking features using GD&T and 3D models and learn inspection using orthogonal Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMMs), touch trigger and analog probes, portable arm CMMs, frame/frameless laser digitizers, and related software and algorithms.
