Course Code: MKTG 3004
Academic Year: 2025-2026
This course builds on the skills and knowledge gained in the first Marketing course and initially reviews the concepts of marketing as they pertain to the Canadian market. These concepts and principles are then applied to the international marketplace where a disciplined approach to the analysis, planning, and execution of international marketing strategies is introduced. Students examine the scope and challenges of international marketing; the dynamics of international trade; and the impact of culture, politics and international law in identifying and evaluating global marketing opportunities from a Canadian business enterprise.
