This course introduces learners to clinical hematology as it pertains to medical laboratory professionals. Learners will develop foundational skills in the operation of automated systems in the hematology laboratory and the preparation of manual samples for routine testing. Additionally, students will explore routine testing procedures in transfusion medicine, along with the proper storage and handling of blood products in accordance with industry standards.
