This foundational course introduces core writing, communication, and storytelling skills with a focus on crafting deliverables that are clear, concise, and responsive to various audiences and purposes. Students learn and exercise the conventions of grammar, punctuation, and plain language. Students reflect on their writing process, examine and practice strategies for planning, researching, drafting, editing, and revising texts.
