In this course we will build on the techniques developed in the first semester, diving deeper into the design process and building web pages. Students will be exposed to a more thorough exploration of HTML/CSS and learn to leverage their designs for both print and the web. Through a series of practical assignments in Illustrator, InDesign, Visual Studio Code and Dreamweaver, students will design effective communications for various channels. Students will learn the capacities, strengths, and complementary aspects of each program, and will become familiar with their basic functions through tutorials and creative projects. Students will develop and design a digital magazine cover and inside page using Illustrator and InDesign, a travel web page using HTML and CSS in Visual Studio Code and a personal portfolio website within Dreamweaver.
