Students in Special Projects will design and complete projects according to their own interests. Every student will complete a 4-hour, a 12-hour, and a 20-hour project, with specific learning outcomes defined by the student. The 20-hour project must reflect one of the Institutional Learning Outcomes: Equity, Diversity, Inclusion and Belonging; Sustainability; or Indigenous Ways of Knowing and Being. Students may work individually, in groups, or with community partners. There is the opportunity to arrange field trips, invite speakers, or hold workshops, depending upon the interests of the class.
