An intense introduction to music marketing covering both traditional and on-line, including all forms of media advertising, promotion, sales materials and social media. This will be placed in a domestic and international context, as the music industry is now a global business. Simultaneously, students will study the financial side of the industry including cost controls, pricing, mark-up and return on investment to ensure creative ideas are fiscally responsible.
