This course will provide nursing students with an evidence-based approach to the assessment, diagnosis and management of common sexually transmitted infections. In addition, disparities in access to sexual health care will be identified within priority populations, including research into prevention strategies, diagnostics, emerging therapies, and the influence of technology on current issues in sexual health.
