In this course, students learn the steps involved in the nutrition care process of low to moderate nutritional risk clients: screening, assessment, diagnosis, intervention, monitoring, and evaluation. Students learn how to use medical terminology, interpret lab values, document client progress per ministry standards, and create and update nutrition care plans based on assessments. Current software systems found in healthcare facilities are used to facilitate preparedness for the workplace.
