Moral decision-making is pervasive in all aspects of our lives -- the personal, inter-personal, and societal. This course introduces students to the ethical theories and diverse multi-cultural world-views that inform and ground such decision-making. A critical understanding of these will be applied to the specifics of research that studies living beings or the environment. Additionally, the interplay between ethics, law, and regulation in research will be explored.
