This course will be a 'hands-on' approach to collecting and analyzing qualitative data. Students will build on the theory, skills and knowledge gained in Qualitative Research Methods and Analysis I in order to conduct qualitative research for a variety of goals, such as understanding client populations and community needs, conducting program evaluation, and measuring consumer satisfaction and public opinion. Students will use qualitative software applications to analyse data in order to identify patterns and themes using different coding techniques and to prepare an explanation of the data.
