This course builds upon the introductory course in quantitative methods, enabling students to develop their understanding and evaluation of more advanced quantitative techniques as they are used in market, social, or business research. The course emphasizes the application of quantitative methods to cover a range of research problems and their investigation. Students will further their knowledge of inferential statistics with a variety of hypothesis testing topics, including variance and regression analyses. Students also learn how to analyse, present, and manage data using advanced statistical software techniques, for specific research purposes and stakeholder needs. Using robust data analysis software, students learn how to process and analyze myriad types of data using appropriate statistical tests and translate findings into insights and meaningful visual representations.
