In this course students delve into the post-marketing requirements of licensed therapeutic and healthcare products as part of the product's lifecycle. Students learn and apply the regulatory aspects of pharmacovigilance and post-marketing surveillance systems to identify, assess and manage new product risks and emerging safety information thereby improving product safety, quality and effectiveness. Students gain a solid understanding of how healthcare product manufacturers must comply with post-market surveillance regulations.
