Building on the SCM 5002 Business Processes 1 course, students continue with understanding the integration of transaction-based activities that support the Order-to-Cash, Procure-to-Pay, and Make-to-Order processes. Students explore Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software as well as Decision Support tools to simulate a real-world business. SAP is used to demonstrate how efficient and effective business processes are designed. Learners examine key supply chain modules within SAP to reinforce the interconnectivity between data, transactions, and processes. The students also learn how to model and document processes for the purpose of re-engineering in this course.
