In this course, students establish priorities for assessment and treatment planning. They collect information using a variety of TCM and Western diagnostic methods. Through a variety of learning strategies, students interpret the collected information using the various TCM syndrome differentiation methods, including eight principles differentiation, organ differentiation, five elements differentiation, triple warmer differentiation, four levels differentiation, six stages differentiation, qi, blood, and body fluid differentiation, meridian differentiation, and pathogenic factors differentiation.
