In this course, students will continue to improve upon their vocabulary, techniques and understanding of the roles and processes of costuming acquired in Costuming 1. As well as building on their knowledge of costume history and fundamental construction techniques important to their overall collection of basic costuming skills, students will also learn how to measure the body and ready-to-wear garments, and the basics in flat pattern drafting. Students will engage in curated activities and projects to reinforce these new skills.
