Develop a service centric & professional mindset for the win. The first half of this course focuses on developing professional etiquette, strong business communication skills as well as time and stress management tools to succeed both in college and in business. Through guest speakers and an interactive lecture format students will learn about the wide variety of Humbers available support services and both college and industry expectations for academic and career success. In the second half of the course students are introduced to the art of selling tourism products by providing customer service excellence ensuring long term relationships based on customer satisfaction, trust and loyalty. Students will hone a service leadership attitude by fostering active listening, team building, and dispute resolution skills to achieve service excellence.
