Learners research market growth, identify and assess target markets as well as leading tour companies that specialize in this market segment. As more and more travellers seek authentic experiences that align with their interests, the demand for customized travel continues to increase. Thus, this course further focusses on teaching students to design, price and package domestic and international customized independent travel itineraries by building on their research skills and Excel proficiency. Additionally, the impact of fluctuating currency exchange rates on tour prices and methods of protecting pricing structures is also addressed.
