This capstone course provides students the opportunity to synthesize their knowledge and skills across victimology sectors. Through the development of a comprehensive research project, students will integrate theoretical frameworks, applied research skills, and interdisciplinary professional knowledge to improve service provision for victims of various crimes, trauma, and violence. As part of their capstone, students will collaborate with partner agencies and stakeholders on community-centered projects aimed at enhancing existing programs, evaluating or identifying creative solutions to strengthen victim services, and promoting innovation within the sector.
