This course introduces students to the game engine, Unreal Engine, specifically focusing on the aspects of the ICVFX pipeline. Students will be trained in the evaluation and optimization of virtual environments and assets from a variety of sources. The course will focus on key topics - lighting systems, Blueprint Systems/ Interactivity Toolkit, Virtual Camera and Genlock. Students will be introduced to the concept of Previs and will learn the protocols of Previs as part of the ICVFX pipeline.
