The Field Experience course provides students with an authentic work experience in the recreation and leisure services industry. Students acquire field experience opportunities that require them to apply the knowledge and skills taught in other program related courses. During the field experience, the students work closely with a supervisor to develop necessary job skills for future employment success. The field experience requires students to work a minimum of 250 hours over a 12-week period.
