Capstone Project

In developing their capstone project, students integrate and apply the software/database development skills and knowledge acquired in the program on a real-world project. Working in a team, with nominal supervision, they will design, develop, document and test a software/database application. As part of the development process the students will demonstrate the following: project management skills, professional behavior, effective communication skills, and problem-solving abilities as they transition from trainee to professional. Note: Weekly meetings with faculty are a requirement of this course. Students enrolled in this course will have successfully completed ISDV 522/ITS 523 Project Management.
