The purpose of this course is to introduce students to computer concepts, the software development process commonly used in the game industry, and an introduction to the design of video games. Students will use the Unified Modeling Language and pseudo-code to design the implementation of problems related to video games. This is an introductory course, which is meant to provide an overview of all phases of the game development life cycle. Assignments and or or case studies will be used to support the application of theory.
