This course is an introduction to the professional standards and career-planning skills required for success within the tourism and hospitality industries. Students develop a resum and career portfolio; participate in a practice interview; and learn job search strategies, networking and career-planning skills. The student is introduced to career-path opportunities for their program areas and key skills employers demand. In addition, students receive an overview of the requirements for the fourth-semester internship.
