Materials and Operations Management

The course examines topics in one of the three business core subject areas, mainly operations (the two others being finance and marketing). Students completing this course will have an in-depth knowledge of the responsibilities and current tools of operations managers in manufacturing and non-manufacturing organizations. Coverage includes inventory management, JIT, MRP, ERP, introduction to SAP, quality management, process improvement and project management.
