Percussion Ensemble - Part 1

This course allows for the practical application of historical, theoretical and musical knowledge through the performance of contemporary music. Music students are placed in a performing ensemble based on the level of playing ability on their instrument as well as their own musical interests. Ensemble types and repertoire will represent the diversity of contemporary music including jazz combos, rhythm & blues, big band, jazz choir, world jazz lab, funk and rock bands.
