Pharmacy Technician Work Experience

In this fieldwork placement course, students will spend four consecutive weeks in each of the community and hospital pharmacy settings where they will experience all aspects of pharmacy practice in a comprehensive manner. Students will be able to observe the role of the pharmacy technician first hand and interact with health care professionals in the work place environment. This course provides students with an opportunity to apply and refine the technical skills and knowledge previously studied in the Pharmacy Technician program, and to further develop their professional communication and interpersonal skills. No remuneration is given for this fieldwork placement.
