Relational Child and Youth Care Practice 1

"This is an introductory course on the fundamental aspects of relational interventions with children and adolescents. The intention of the course is to give students the opportunity to understand, practice and implement direct interventions in their work with children and youth prior to the first field placement. The course is highly interactive and practical and will develop a strength-based, ecological, anti-oppressive, relational approach when working with young people.
Prerequisite for CYC 154. CYC 218.
