Accessible Content Design

Course Code: ADCC 006

A Micro Credential is an available option for this course. In the age of information, we all play a role in how information is communicated. Accessible communication, whether it’s printed or digital, begins with well-planned content. This course will discuss accessibility best practices to add to your workflow for the design of information architecture, page layout, colour and font choices. We will discuss writing alternative text for visual elements and acceptable alternative formats for your communications in addition to understanding the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG 2.1) and how they apply to your content.
