Module 3
Communicating with
Professors
Research shows that students with disabilities who interact with their professors are more satisfied with their education. During this pandemic, most of your contact with professors will be done via email, especially when it comes to arranging accommodations or requesting support. Sometimes students are not sure what to include in their emails, or they have a tendency to over-share. In this module, we will review how to communicate with your professors and things to keep in mind before you contact them. You will also be provided with some example emails on how to introduce your Accommodation Letter with your professors and how to ask for help.
