Considerations for Migrating HTML Content Using “Ultra Course Preview” Method

The Ultra Course Preview method for migrating your content can accommodate the migration of HTML files but there are a few considerations to note before deciding to move forward with this method: 

  1. These instructions apply to .html files that were added in Blackboard Original as Files and not Items or Blank Pages that have embedded HTML using the Source code function in the WYSIWYG/content editor. If you are unsure of what this means, see the following FAQ page (Question #4): Frequently Asked Questions about HTML in Blackboard Ultra
  2. In Original, you could create an unlimited number of nested folders. Ultra only allows 2 levels of nested folders, so 3 content levels in total (see image below). You may need to rethink your structure a bit depending on how deeply nested your folders are.
