Moving Collaborate Ultra Recordings

At Humber, your Collaborate recordings are deleted around three weeks after the end of the semester. If you have recordings that you would like to keep, you need to download them and store them elsewhere. It’s important that you do not upload your recordings to Blackboard.

To ensure an optimal and equitable student experience, and to ensure you keep your course size within the 2.5 GB allotted storage limit, please upload video to a streaming tool (eg. Panopto, YouTube) and share the link with your students. The following resources will help you.

  • Downloading Collaborate Ultra Recordings.
  • Uploading Collaborate Ultra Recordings to OneDrive
  • Adding OneDrive links to your Blackboard Ultra Course
  • Uploading Video Content to Panopto: Refer to the following resources:
    • Upload Already-Made Video Content
    • Embed Videos Into Blackboard and Share Videos and Playlists
