International Teaching Effectiveness Certificate

In this 42-hour teacher development program, internationally trained educators explore evidence-based theories and apply inclusive approaches to lesson and course design. Participants will complete modules, engage in discussions and collaborate in sessions that support skill development in critical reflection, innovative digital tools, and the creation of impactful learning experiences for all.

ITEC is an experientially-focused course which includes foundational, workshops focused on 21st century pedagogy and technology.

42 Hours intensive delivered in-person:

  • Digital Learning Technologies

Successful completion of ITEC provides participants with advanced standing to participate in Humber’s SEDA and STLHE recognized Teaching Effectiveness Certificate by completing another 30 hrs of coursework delivered online. Note: There is an additional tuition cost for this coursework.
