In this workshop participants will be presented with recent approaches to leveraging the Learning Management System as a tool for providing dynamic content and experiential learning opportunities. Using Algonquin College’s transition to Brightspace as a recent case study, three examples will be presented: Simulating a Work Placement, Creating a Content Builder for Faculty, and utilizing the Learning Object Repository. Case studies will spur discussion on moving from utilizing the LMS as a place to hold content, to designing engaging inclusive learning experiences.
